When the first chatter surfaced about Jane Pratt and Tavi Gevinson’s new online enterprises, I thought, “I wonder why that smart woman is collaborating with that source of chick fluff?” and now that we’re months into xoJane and Rookie, I feel pretty stupid for thinking that Pratt was going to be the one making the intelligent thing for women.
